Background The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) is a community-based natural resource management agency that protects, enhances, and sustains healthy watersheds. With over 60 years of experience, the NPCA offers watershed programs and services that focus on flood and hazard management, source water protection, species protection, ecosystem restoration, community stewardship, and land management. The NPCA is one of 36 Conservation Authorities in the Province of Ontario and manages 41 Conservation Areas within the Niagara Peninsula watershed held in public trust for recreation, heritage preservation, conservation, and education. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunity, NPCA wishes to select a single organization to provide IT managed services for our organization and to enter into a 5-year agreement with the option to extend upon mutual agreement for two (2) one (1) year extension. Invitation to Proponents This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority to qualified Information Technology firms to submit a proposal for Consulting and Professional Service in Information Technology to Business Enterprises (further described in ‘Appendix D - The RFP Particulars’).
